Abstract
U današnjem svijetu tehnologija je postala neizostavan dio svakodnevnog života djece, ali često nemaju dublje razumijevanje o tome kako tehnologija funkcionira. Ovo istraživanje je imalo za cilj procijeniti sposobnost računalnog razmišljanja kod djece različite dobi te ispitati primjenu koncepta kroz CS Unplugged metodu. Kako bi se potaklo njihovo razumijevanje i razvoj vještina u području tehnologije, važno je pružiti im priliku za istraživanje i eksperimentiranje. CS Unplugged metoda je pristup učenju računalnog razmišljanja bez upotrebe računalnih uređaja. U ovom istraživanju fokus je bio na konceptu algoritma sortiranja. Istraživanje je uključivalo djecu različite dobi, a cilj je bio utvrditi njihovu sposobnost razumijevanja i primjene koncepta algoritma sortiranja putem CS Unplugged metode. Rezultati istraživanja pokazali su da je većina djece, bez obzira na dob, sposobna razumjeti i primijeniti taj koncept.
Abstract (english)
In today's world, technology has become an integral part of children's daily lives, yet they often lack a deeper understanding of how technology functions. This research aimed to assess the computational thinking ability of children of different ages and explore the application of the concept through the CS Unplugged method. To encourage their comprehension and skill development in the realm of technology, it's important to provide them with opportunities for exploration and experimentation. The CS Unplugged method offers an approach to teaching computational thinking without the use of computer devices. This research specifically focused on the concept of sorting algorithms. Children of varying ages were involved in the study, with the goal of determining their ability to understand and apply the sorting algorithm concept through the CS Unplugged approach. The research findings demonstrated that the majority of children, regardless of age, were capable of comprehending and applying this concept effectively.
