Abstract
Djeca se od malih nogu susreću s tehnologijom, ali rijetko uče kako ta tehnologija radi. Više se fokusira djecu učiti kako se tehnologijom koristiti, nego kako ona u suštini radi. Objašnjenja za takve postupke su najčešće preapstraktno funkcioniranje tehnologije i nemogućnost djece da to shvate. Mnoga istraživanja, kao i istraživanje koje ovaj rad prati, su pokazala da djeca mogu više nego što mnogi misle, ako se pred njih stavi adekvatan alat za to. Kroz cijelo obrazovanje, pa i od vrtićke dobi, djeca trebaju na konkretan i aktivan način, kroz igru, biti poticana da razvijaju vlastito logičko, apstraktno i računalno razmišljanje koje im može pomoći, ne samo u informatici i programiranju, već u mnogim drugim domenama života.
Abstract (english)
Children are exposed to technology from an early age, but rarely learn how it works. It focuses more on teaching children how to use technology, rather than how it actually works. Explanations for such procedures are most often the too abstract functioning of technology and the inability of children to understand themselves. Many studies, as well as the research that follows this paper, have shown that children can do more than many think, if they are given the appropriate tools for it. Throughout education, even from kindergarten age, children should be encouraged in a concrete and active way, through activities, to develop their own logical, abstract and computational thinking that can help them, not only in computer science and programming, but in many other domains of life.
