Abstract
Mnogobrojna istraživanja provedena na tehnologiji litij-ionskih baterija rezultirala su pouzdanim i snažnim spremnikom energije, koji je pokrenuo industriju mobilnih električnih uređaja, a u zadnje vrijeme i industriju električnih automobila. U tom razvoju dosegnuta su određena ograničenja kada je u pitanju gustoća pohranjene energije, gustoća snage i broj ciklusa punjenja/pražnjenja ovih baterija. Međutim, suvremena istraživanja ukazuju da će se ta ograničenja prevladati kroz nove obećavajuće tehnologije baterija poput litij–sumpor (Li–S) baterije, litij-zračne baterije i baterije koja koristi organske materijale. Uskoro se očekuje i nova generacija litij-ionskih baterija u potpunosti temeljenih na nanomaterijalima. U ovome radu dan je pregled principa rada i performansi trenutnih baterija i baterija čija se komercijalizacija očekuje u bliskoj budućnosti.
Abstract (english)
Numerous studies on lithium-ion battery technology have resulted in a reliable and powerful energy storage device that has advanced the mobile electric device industry and, more recently, the electric car industry. During this development, certain limits were reached in terms of the density of stored energy, power density, and number of charge/discharge cycles of these batteries. However, modern research suggests that these limits are being overcome by promising new battery technologies such as lithiumsulphur (Li - S) batteries, lithium-air batteries, and batteries that use organic materials. A new generation of lithium-ion batteries based entirely on nanomaterials is also expected soon. This thesis gives an overview of the operation and performance of current batteries and batteries that are expected to come on the market in the near future.
