Abstract
Cilj ovoga rada bio je uspostaviti tri-omega metodu za mjerenje toplinske vodljivosti te testirati metodu mjerenjem toplinske vodljivost silicija. U tu svrhu izradili smo eksperimentalni postav, što uključuje izradu Wheastoneovog mosta i grijača uzorka, postavili smo platinski termometar te napisali i testirali programe za mjerenje temperaturne ovisnosti otpora metalne trake i toplinske vodljivosti silicija. Izmjerili smo temperaturni koeficijent otpora metalne trake i frekventnu karakteristiku trećeg harmonika za dvije efektivne vrijednosti napona izvora od 0,75 i 0,5 V te na dvije temperature 26 ˚C i 47 ˚C. koju smo stabilizirali grijanjem pomoću grijača i strujnog izvora. Izmjerene vrijednosti koeficijenta toplinske vodljivosti uzorka silicija na sobnoj temperaturi za efektivnu vrijednost napona izvora od 0,5 V iznose oko 132 W/m∙K, a za napon izvora od 0,75 V su nešto više i iznose oko 175 W/m∙K te su u dobrom slaganju s vrijednostima iz literature. Na temperaturi od 47 ˚C toplinska vodljivost je nešto manja i iznosi oko 167 W/m∙K, što je u skladu s očekivanjima jer toplinska vodljivost pada s povišenjem temperature.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis was to establish the tri-omega method for measuring thermal conductivity as well as to test the method by measuring the thermal conductivity of the silicon. For that purpose the experimental setup, which includes the Wheatstone bridge and the sample heater with platinum thermometer, was constructed. The program for measurement the temperature dependence of the metal line resistance and the thermal conductivity of silicon was written and tested. We measured the temperature coefficient of the metal line resistance and the frequency characteristic of the third harmonic for the effective source voltages of 0.75 and 0.5 V, and for the temperatures of 26 ˚C and 47 ˚C. We found that the thermal conductivity of the silicon sample at room temperature, for effective source voltage 0.5 V, is about 132 W / m∙K and for 0.75 V about 175 W / m∙K. These values are in a good agreement with the literature. At 47 °C, the heat conductivity is smaller, about 167 W / m∙K, as expected because the thermal conductivity decreases with temperature.
