Abstract
Svijet kvantne mehanike obiluje pojavama neobičnim u našem, makroskopskom, svijetu, a jedna od neobičnijih je kvantno tuneliranje. Kvantno tuneliranje učinak je koji omogućava čestici da se nađe unutar klasično zabranjenog područja, a to je posljedica nemogućnosti određivanja položaja i količine gibanja čestice istovremeno s jednakom preciznošću, odnosno Heisenbergovog principa neodređenosti. Osim u fizici, kvantno tuneliranje nalazi svoju primjenu i u drugim prirodnim i tehničkim znanostima, elektronici, tehnici i medicini, a njegova je budućnost svakako i u brzom bežičnom slanju podataka.
Abstract (english)
The world of quantum mechanics has a lot of unusual effects in „our“ world, the macroscopic world, one of which is quantum tunnelling. Quantum tunnelling is an effect that allows particles to be found inside a classical forbidden region due to the impossibility to measure the position and the momentum at the same time with the same precision, i.e. that states the Heisenberg's uncertaintyprinciple. Besides physics, quantum tunnelling finds its application in other natural and technical sciences, eletronics, medicine and its future is for sure in super fast dana transmissions.
