Abstract
U ovom radu govorit će se o utjecaju prečestog korištenja digitalnih medija na kognitivne sposobnosti ljudi. Jedna od posljedica prečestog korištenja digitalnih medija je digitalna demencija. Digitalna demencija za posljedicu ima propadanje neurona i sinapsi uslijed njihove nedovoljne kognitivne opterećenosti. U prvom dijelu rada dan je pregled niza istraživanja kojima su potvrđene teze koje govore o štetnosti prečeste upotrebe digitalnih medija, utjecaju digitalnih tehnologija na mozak... More ljudi te posljedicama nedovoljne kognitivne opterećenosti. Drugi dio rada daje pregled aplikacije namijenjene testiranju kognitivnih sposobnosti korisnika, čiji je cilj buđenje svijesti korisnika digitalnih medija, a koja je inspirirana istraživanjima spomenutima u prvom dijelu rada. Abstract (english)
This paper will discuss using digital media too often and its impact on people's cognitive abilities. One of the consequences of digital media overuse is digital dementia. Digital dementia results in the breakdown of neurons and synapses due to their insufficient cognitive load. The first part of the paper provides an overview of a series of studies that confirm the theses which tells about the harmfulness of excessive use of digital media. Also, it deals with the impact of digital... More technologies on the human brain and the consequences of insufficient cognitive load. The second part of the paper provides an overview of an application designed to test the users' cognitive abilities, which aims to raise digital media users' awareness.
