Abstract
U ovom radu opisane su prednosti mikrovalnog zračenja prilikom sinteze amonijevih kvaternih soli. Tehnika mikrovalnog zračenja pruža jednostavnost procesa, bolje iskorištenje, smanjeno reakcijsko vrijeme, ekološku i ekonomsku prihvatljivost. Uspoređeni su uvjeti, postupci i rezultati klasične sinteze s podatcima dobivenim upotrebom mikrovalnog zračenja. Svrha usporedbe je naglasiti učinkovitost i prednosti koje pruža mikrovalno zračenje. Reakcijsko vrijeme je smanjeno na nekoliko minuta, a iskorištenja su značajno viša. Nadalje, opisana je sinteza metil karbonat amonijevih kvaternih soli i sinteza amonijevih kvaternih soli s novim ionima upotrebom dimetil karbonata. Dobivena su visoka iskorištenja, ali reakcije su se odvijale nekoliko sati. Također, opisane su različite primjene amonijevih kvaternih soli s naglaskom na njihov biološki potencijal.
Abstract (english)
This thesis describes the advantages of microwave radiation in synthesis of quaternary ammonium salts. The technique of microwave radiation is simple process, resulting in better yields, decreased reaction time, better ecological and economical acceptability. A comparison has been made between the conditions, procedures and the results of classic synthesis with the dana obtained by microwave radiation. The reason for this comparison is to enhance the efficiency and the advantages that microwave radiation provides. The reaction time has been reduced to a couple of minutes, and the yields have significantly increased. Furthermore, the syntheses of methyl carbonate quaternary ammonium salts and quaternary ammonium salts with new counterions with the utilization of dimethyl carbonate have been described. The reactions proceeded obtaining products in higher yields, but at much slower rates. In addition, the different applications of quaternary ammonium salts with an emphasis on their biological potential have been described.
