Abstract
Ovaj završni rad donosi kratak pregled nestandardnih postupaka obrade materijala, njihove značajke te podjelu, u koju ubrajamo i lasersku obradu. Kroz povijest dolazimo do nastanka i razvoja lasera te njegovog značenja. Zatim, pobliže su opisana svojstva laserske zrake koju emitira ovaj moćni alat te njegova građa i način rada. Navedena je i podjela lasera prema više parametara, najznačajniji predstavnici svake od kategorija, gdje je podrobnije objašnjen njihov način rada i primjena. Naposljetku, detaljno su opisani najčešći postupci laserske obrade materijala u strojarskoj industriji kao i upotreba lasera u drugim granama ljudske djelatnosti.
Abstract (english)
This thesis provides a short overview of the unconventional procedures of material processing, along with their characteristics and division in which laser material processing is a part of. Over the course of history a lot has changed regarding laser and its significance. This work also provides the information about pecularities of laser beams which are produced by this powerfull tool, the structure of laser and its application. Classification of laser types along with the most significant representatives of each category of application is also provided, along with their way of work and usage. Finally, the detailed description of the most common procedures of laser material processing in mechanical engineering is presented, as well as the application of laser in other branches of human activities.
