Abstract
Aspirin odnosno acetil salicilna kiselina je organski spoj koji je klasificiran kao lijek. Glavno područje djelovanja je protuupalno djelovanje. Aktivni sastojci aspirina su poznati kroz povijest. Današnji aspirin je sintetski lijek i dobiva se reakcijom esterifikacije. Cilj ovog završnog rada je proći kroz povijest dobivanja aspirina upoznati se sa njegovim svojstvima , mehanizmom djelovanja te nuspojavama koje izaziva u ljudskom organizmu. Biti će pojašnjena laboratorijska sinteza aspirina, njegovo pročišćavanje i naposljetku, kratki osvrt o jednoj od mogućih spektroskopskih tehnika (IR spektroskopiji) u dokazivanju aspirina.
Abstract (english)
Aspirin or acetyl salicylic acid is a compound that is classified as drug. The main area of action is anti- inflammatory action. The active ingredients of aspirin are known throughout history. Today's aspirin is a synthetic drug and is obtained by an esterification reaction. The aim of thesis is to go through the history of obtaining aspirin, to get acquainted with its properties, the mechanism of its action and the side effects it causes in the human body. Laboatory synthesis of aspirin will be clarified, its purification and, finally, a brief overview of one of the possible spectroscopic techniques (IR spectroscopy) for detection of aspirin.
