Abstract
Za modeliranje fotosinteze potrebno je poznavanje ovisnosti fotosinteze o svjetlosti, matematički opisane funkcijom svjetlosnog zasićenja, koja određuje brzinu asimilacije ugljika pri fotosintezi. Ovisnost fotosinteze o svjetlosti se eksperimentalno mjeri pri kontroliranim svjetlosnim uvjetima, te se na temelju tih mjerenja određuje funkcija svjetlosnog zasićenja koja se dalje koristi u modelima fotosinteze za izračunavanje trenutne stope asimilacije ugljika pri modeliranim svjetlosnim... More uvjetima. U moru, svjetlost ovisi o dubini, te je za opisati ovisnost fotosinteze o dubini predstavljen jednostavni optički model ovisnosti intenziteta svjetlosti o dubini. Uz poznavanje ovisnosti intenziteta svjetlosti o dubini upotrijebljena je funkcija svjetlosnog zasićenja za izračunati trenutnu stopu asimilacije ugljika pri fotosintezi. Konačno je integrirana funkcija svjetlosnog zasićenja po vremenu te je time dobiven izraz za ukupni asimilirani ugljik tijekom jednog dana. Ovisnost svjetlosti o dubini i vremenu je nelinearna, a također i ovisnost fotosinteze o svjetlosti, čime je ovaj cijeli problem izrazito nelinearan. Less
Abstract (english)
Photosynthesis modelling requires the knowledge of the photosynthesis light relationship, mathematically described by the photosynthesis irradiance function, which determines the rate of carbon assimilation during photosynthesis. The dependence of photosynthesis on light is experimentally measured under controlled light conditions and based on these measurements the light saturation function is further used in photosynthesis models, to calculate the instantaneous rate of carbon... More assimilation under modelled light conditions. In the sea, light depends on depth, and a simple optical model of the dependence of light intensity on depth is presented. With the knowledge of light intensity versus depth, a light saturation function is used to calculate the instantaneous rate of carbon assimilation in photosynthesis. Finally, the photosynthesis irradiance function is integrated over time to get an expression for total assimilated carbon during one day. Dependence of light on depth and time is non-linear, and likewise also the dependence of photosynthesis on light is non-linear, making the whole problem highly non-linear. Less
