Abstract
Ribe su većinom gonohoristi odnosno jedinke su razdvojena spola. U usporedbi s drugim skupinama kralježnjaka, ribe uključuju relativno velik broj dvospolaca, osobito među pravim koštunjačama (Teleostei). Dvospolci mogu biti sekvencijski i simultani. Sekvencijski dvospolci obuhvaćaju protoginiju, protoandriju i dvosmjerne promjene spola, dok simultani mogu uključivati samooplodnju. Pojedine vrste riba se mogu razmnožavati i kao uniseksualni organizmi i stvarati samo žensko potomstvo.
Abstract (english)
Most fish, are gonochoristic, meaning that individuals are separate sex. Compared to other groups of vertebrates, fishes include a relatively large number of hermaphrodites, especially among teleost fishes (Teleostei). Hermafrodites can be simultaneous and sequential. Sequential hermaphrodites include protoginy, protoandry and bidirectional sex change, while simultaneous include self-fertilization and „outcrossing“. Some species of fishes can reproduce as unisexual organisms and produce only female offspring.
