Abstract
Virusi su obligatni, unutarstanični paraziti građeni od nukleinske kiseline (DNA ili RNA) i proteinske kapside, dok je lipidna ovojnica koju neki virusi posjeduju porijeklom od domaćinske stanice. Virusi ne posjeduju metabolizam, stoga svi koraci virusnog replikacijskog ciklusa ovise o stanici domaćina koju virus inficira. Dobro su adaptirani na stanicu domaćina i koriste brojne stanične mehanizme koji u stanici imaju ulogu u metaboličkim putevima, transportu tvari, replikaciji genoma ili borbi protiv patogena. Ovaj rad pobliže opisuje strategije ulaska virusa i promjene koje izazivaju u eukariotima. Sam proces se može podijeliti na nekoliko koraka: od inicijalnog vezanja na površinu stanice, ulaska u citoplazmu i transporta unutar nje, do početka replikacije, bilo u citoplazmi ili jezgri domaćinske stanice. Uočeno je da su svi koraci uključeni u ulazak virusa u stanicu precizno regulirani i da postoji izuzetna raznolikost različitih strategija i adaptacije vezanih za taj proces.
Abstract (english)
Viruses are obligate, intracellular parasites composed of nucleic acid (DNA or RNA) and protein capsids, while the lipidic membrane, which some viruses possess, originates from the host cell. Viruses lack metabolism, so all steps of the viral replication cycle are dependant of the host cell infected by the virus. They are well adapted to the host cell and utilize numerous cellular mechanisms that play a role in the cell's metabolic pathways, substance transportation, genome replication and the pathogen control. This paper describes in more detail the strategies of viral entry and the conseqential changes in the eukaryotic cell. . The processcan be divided into several steps: from initial attachment to the cell surface, entry into the cytoplasm and transport within it, to the onset of replication, whether in the cytoplasm or the nucleus of the host cell. It was observed that all steps involved in viral entry into the cell are precisely regulated and that there is a remarkable variety of different strategies and adaptations related to this process.
