Abstract
Plazma se smatra četvrtim stanjem tvari, uz čvrsto, tekuće i plinovito stanje. Po definiciji plazma je kvazi-neutralan plin nabijenih čestica koje pokazuju kolektivno ponašanje. Možemo reći da je većina vidljive materije u svemiru u stanju plazme koja se uglavnom pojavljuje u Suncu i općenito zvijezdama, a ujedno i međuplanetarnom prostoru. Na Zemlji je vidimo u obliku munja, aurora, ali je i proizvodimo te joj je primjena široka. Korištenje plazme na bazi deuterija i tricija u nuklearnim reaktorima se smatra jednim od mogućih energetskih rješenja za budućnost. Cilj ovog rada je pobliže se upoznati s konceptom plazme, fizike plazme te njenom upotrebom u industriji.
Abstract (english)
Plasma is considered to be the fourth state of matter, along with solid, liquid and gas state. By definition plasma is a quasineutral gas of charged and neutral particles which exhibits collective behavior. We can say that most of the visible matter in the universe is in plasma state which is located in the Sun and generally in stars, and in the intergallactic space as well. On Earth we see it in the form of lightning, auroras, but we also produce it and it has a wide application. The use of deuterium and tritium based plasma in nuclear reactors is considered one of the possible energy solutions for the future. The aim of this paper is to get acquainted with the concept of plasma, plasma physics and its use in industry.
