Abstract
Povijest keramike stara je koliko i civilizacija. Od samog početka utjecaj keramike na čovjeka i ljudsku civilizaciju je velik. Razvoj tehnologije i znanosti bitno je utjecao na razvoj keramike, tako da se tradicionalne keramike sve više zamjenjuju takozvanim modernim ili tehničkim keramikama. Tehnička keramika, izrađena od kemijskih spojeva, ima široku primjenu u suvremenom svijetu. Izuzetno dobra svojstva kao što su visoka tvrdoća, visoka tlačna i savojna čvrstoća, visoka otpornost na puzanje, visoki modul elastičnosti, niska toplinska i električna vodljivost, visoka otpornost na trošenje, mala gustoća, niska toplinska rastezljivost i kemijska postojanost omogućuju izuzetno široku primjenu keramičkih materijala u tehnici, a samim tim i u elektronici.
Abstract (english)
The history of ceramics is as old as civilization. From the very beginning the influence of ceramics on man and human civilization is great. The development of technology and science has significantly influenced the development of ceramics, so traditional ceramics are increasingly replaced by so-called modern or technical ceramics. Technical ceramic, made of chemical compounds, has a wide application in the contemporary world. Extremely good properties such as high hardness, high pressure and bending strength, high creep resistance, high modulus of elasticity, low thermal and electrical conductivity, high wear resistance, low density, low thermal expansion and chemical stability allow extremely wide application of ceramic materials in technique and even in electronics.
