Abstract
Suvremeno doba karakterizira neprestani napredak tehnologije koja se sve više primjenjuje u svim aspektima života, uključujući i obrazovanje. Mješovita stvarnost (MR) je jedna od najinovativnijih tehnologija koja kombinira digitalni i fizički svijet kako bi stvorila hibridno okruženje. Primjena mješovite stvarnosti u obrazovanju ima potencijal da transformira cijeli sektor obrazovanja omogućujući nov i inovativan pristup kako učenju, tako i poboljšanju akademskih postignuća. Osim mješovite stvarnosti, postoje i druge tehnologije poput virtualne stvarnosti (VR) i proširene stvarnosti (AR) koje također omogućavaju unapređenje obrazovanja. U ovom se istraživačkom radu prvo opisuju osnovni koncepti navedenih tehnologija, dok se u drugom dijelu naglasak stavlja na primjenu mješovite stvarnosti u osnovnom, srednjem i visokom obrazovanju. Rad također razmatra prednosti i mane mješovite stvarnost u obrazovanju, te daje preporuke za daljnje istraživanje i razvoj mješovite stvarnosti kao obrazovne tehnologije.
Abstract (english)
The modern era is characterized by continuous technological advancement, which is increasingly being applied in all aspects of life, including education. Mixed reality (MR) is one of the most innovative technologies that combines the digital and physical world to create a hybrid environment. The application of mixed reality in education has the potential to transform the entire education sector by enabling a new and innovative approach to learning and improving academic achievement. In addition to mixed reality, there are other technologies such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) that also enable the enhancement of education. This research thesis first describes the basic concepts of these technologies, while the second part focuses on the application of mixed reality in elementary, middle, and higher education. This thesis also discusses the advantages and disadvantages of mixed reality in education and provides recommendations for further research and development of mixed reality as an educational technology.
