Abstract
U ovom radu je opisan Signal protokol koji se koristi za postizanje end-to-end enkripcije poziva i poruka u stvarnom vremenu. Cilj rada je objasniti matematičku pozadinu i opisati način rada i svrhu svake komponente koju ovaj protokol koristi. U radu smo se dotaknuli algebre, teorije brojeva i kriptografije, te dokazali osnovne teoreme koji su služili za konstrukciju konačnih polja koji nam trebaju za algoritam AES kriptosustava. Ovaj protokol nam je zanimljiv jer ga implementiraju aplikacije koje većina koristi u svakodnevnom životu.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the Signal protocol used to achieve end-to-end encryption of calls and messages in real time. The aim of this work is to explain mathematical foundations, describe the operation and purpose of each component of this protocol. In this paper, we have dealt with algebra, number theory and cryptography, and proved basic theorems that served to construct finite fields in which the operations of the AES cryptosystem are performed. This protocol is interesting because it is implemented by applications that most people use in everyday life.
