Abstract
U ovom radu prikazat će se postupak nastajanja jednostavne arkadne igre rađene u programskom jeziku Python. Za potrebe rada izrađena je igra Space Invaders koristeći SDL biblioteku Pygame koja omogućuje bolju kontrolu logike i grafike igara bez brige o pozadinskim složenostima potrebnim za rad. Na početku će se opisati karakteristike dvodimenzionalnih igara i najpopularnije Python biblioteke za razvoj igara uključujući i Pygame. Definirat će se proces modeliranja zahtjeva i tijeka kao i modeliranje logičke strukture s pripadajućim klasama. Zaključno, objasnit će se proces sudara objekata na ekranu kao krucijalne komponente za ispravno funkcioniranje dvodimenzionalnih igara poput ove. Cilj ovog rada je što jasnije približiti način na koji klase i metode funkcioniraju te kako cjelokupni proces izrade dovodi do stvaranja funkcionalne igre.
Abstract (english)
This paper will demonstrate how to make a simple arcade game using Python programming language. The Pygame SDL library, which allows better control of logic and graphic games without worrying about the background complexities required for work, was used to create the game Space Invaders. The fundamentals of two-dimensional games and the most well-known Python game development libraries, including Pygame, will be covered at the beginning. As well as the modeling of the logical structure and its associated classes, the method of requirements and flow modeling will be presented. The process of objects on the screen colliding will also be described in detail as a key element for the effective functioning of two-dimensional games like this one. The goal of this paper is to bring as clearly as possible the way in which classes and methods work and how the entire development process leads to the creation of a functional game.
