Abstract
U ovom radu želi se pokazati kako trenutni industrijski trendovi u arhitekturi poduzeća ukazuju prelazak sa monolitne arhitekture na mikroservisnu arhitekturu. Tvrtke zahtijevaju da se njihove poslovne aplikacije skaliraju na zahtjev ali skaliranje postaje problem za monolitne aplikacije jer povezuju aplikaciju u jednu bazu koda. Aplikacije razvijene korištenjem mikroservisnog dizajna rezultiraju boljim skaliranjem i daju proširenu fleksibilnost programerima uz minimalne troškove. Kombinacija agilne metodologije razvoja softvera i mikroservisne arhitekture omogućuje veću fleksibilnost, učinkovitost i povećanu brzinu isporuke softvera klijentu. Na primjeru korištenja API-a za dohvat podataka o filmu i seriji prikazano je kako napraviti mikroservisnu aplikaciju sa agilnim pristupom u programskom jeziku Java sa Quarkus okvirom i Kafkom kao integracijskom platformom za obradu streaming podataka u stvarnom vremenu.
Abstract (english)
This paper seeks to show how current industrial trends in enterprise architecture indicate the transition from monolithic architecture to microservice architecture. Companies require that their business applications be scaled on demand but scaling becomes a problem for monolithic applications because they link the application into a single code base. Applications developed using microservice design result in better scaling and give extended flexibility to developers at minimal cost. The combination of agile software development methodology and microservice architecture allows for greater flexibility, efficiency and increased speed of software delivery to the client. The example of using the API to retrieve film and series data shows how to create a microservice application with agile access in Java programming language, Quarkus framework and Kafka as an integration platform for real-time streaming data processing.
