The thermodynamic stability of the atmosphere can be determined by observing air parcle. Air parcel is defined as a homogeneous group of molecules that move together through the atmosphere. It is a common assumption of adiabatic motion, motion without heat exchange with the environment. The height to which it rises depends on the properties of the air parcle and on the stability of the atmosphere and may indicate weather conditions over the local area. The trajectory is determined by the temperature profile of the atmosphere and the mixing ratio of the air parcle. The mixing ratio is defined as the ratio of the mass of water vapor to the mass of dry air. The Wyoming Weather Web is a website where you can find measured meteorological data of soudings for stations around the world. This work is based on data analysis from three types of stations: equatorial, desert, and temperate stations. The data are shown in thermodynamic diagrams. They, along with numerous meteorological elements, serve to assess the stability of the atmosphere. Richardson's number, a meteorological parameter that determines the suitability of the environment for the creation of Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds, was additionally estimated. Kelvin-Helmholtz clouds are a visual manifestation of unstable Kelvin-Helmholtz waves, they rarely form and disappear quickly. A necessary condition for the formation of these clouds is the value of the Richardson number less than 0.25.
