Abstract
Surfaktanti su dugo vremena bili predmetom istraživanja brojnih znanstvenika. Veliki interes proizlazi iz iznimnih fizikalno-kemijskih svojstava koja im omogućavaju primjenu u raznim poljima kao primjerice farmaciji, kozmetici, nanotehnologiji, proizvodnji lijekova itd. Reakcija micelizacije je složen je proces u kojem različite međumolekulske interakcije određuju tijek nastajanja micela. Kod proučavanja rekacije micelizacije bitno je promatrati i otapalo u kojem se reakcija odvija. Na taj se način dobije bolji uvid u mirkoskopsko ponašanje surfaktanta te se mogu optimizirati svojstva otopina za komercijalnu i znanstvenu primjenu. U ovom radu ispitan je utjecaj propilen glikola na reakciju micelizacije benzildodecildimetilamonijevog bromida (AJBr).
Abstract (english)
Surfactants have long been the subject of research by numerous scientists. Great interest stems from the exceptional physical and chemical properties allowing their application in various fields such as pharmacy, cosmetics, nanotechnology, drug production, etc. The micellization reaction is a complex process in which various intermolecular interactions determine the course of micelle formation. When studying the micelization reaction, it is important to observe the solvent in which the reaction takes place. This way, a better insight into the microscopic behavior of the surfactant is obtained and the properties of the solutions are optimized for commercial and scientific applications. In this paper, the influence of propylene glycol on the micellization reaction of benzyldodecyldimethylammonium bromide (AJBr) was investigated.
