Abstract
U ovom radu ćemo opisati multimodalne sustave, njihove prednosti i nedostatke. Objasnit ćemo kako su se sučelja razvijala kroz povijest od unimodalne komunikacije gdje su se informacije između čovjeka i računala prenosili prvenstveno jednim kanalom, pa sve do multimodalne komunikacije gdje koristimo više modaliteta za prijenos informacija. Detaljnije ćemo obraditi jedan od modaliteta, a to je govor u interakciji s računalom. Kod interakcija temeljenih na govoru upoznajemo se s njihovim prednostima i manama te načinom na koji procesuiraju informacije. U istraživačkom dijelu nastojimo saznati imaju li korisnici već iskustva s aplikacijama temeljenih na govoru te vlastito mišljenje o takvom načinu interakcije. Stečena teorijska znanja primjenjujemo u izradi projekta te nakon toga vrednujemo projekt kako bi znali da je uspješno napravljen.
Abstract (english)
This article describes multimodal systems and their advantages and disadvantages. It reveals the development of the interface through history, from unimodal communication where information between human and computer were transmitted only through one modality to multimodal communication where more modalities are used between the two to communicate. This article focuses on one modality primarily, that is, on interaction between speech and computer. When talking about speech-based interaction, we analyze its advantages and disadvantages and its way of processing the information. In the research part, we strive to find whether users already have the experience with speech-based applications and whether they prefer that kind of interaction. We enforce theory to build and to evaluate our project to make sure it has been done successfully.
