Abstract
Spektroskopija kao zasebna grana kemije daje kemičarima neophodan izvor informacija o organskim molekulama, biomolekulama i polimerima na kvalitativnoj i na kvantitativnoj razini. Iz dana u dan se razvijaju sve novije i jednostavnije tehnike detekcije atoma, molekula, radikala i iona koje olakšavaju svakodnevni posao u raznim djelatnostima. Ovaj rad se bavi s četiri najpoznatije tehnike za analizu organskih spojeva, a to su: UV-VIS, IR, NMR i MS. Svaka od njih ima svojstven način rada, način uzorkovanja i ograničenja, pa samim time i svoje prednosti i mane.
Abstract (english)
Spectroscopy, as a special field in chemistry, gives every chemist a broad source of information about organic molecules, biomolecules and polymers at the qualitative and quantitative level. Every day, many new and simple techniques for the detection of atoms, molecules, free radicals and ions are being developed, making everyday jobs in different sectors much easier. This thesis describes the four most popular techniques for the detection of organic compounds: UV-VIS, IR, NMR and MS. Every technique has a specific mode of operation, way of sampling and limitations, with respective advantages and disadvantages.
