Abstract
Koristeći kvantne Monte Carlo metode, simulirano je osnovno stanje tetramera He3Ca3 i He3Na 3 . Tetramer He3Ca 3 je prvo simuliran varijacijskom Monte Carlo metodom, kako bi se dobili parametri za probnu valnu funkciju i gornja granica energije osnovnog stanja. Također su izračunate prostorne distribucijske funkcije. Zatim je korišten difuzijski Monte Carlo da bi se energija odredila egzaktnije i distribucijske funkcije usporedile s istima iz varijaciskog Monte Carla. Proučavane su ovisnosti DMC energija o vremenskom koraku i broju šetača. Nije pronađeno vezano stanje He3Na 3 na varijacijskoj razini. Preliminarni rezultati DMC simulacija daju negativne vrijednosti energije, no ipak nedovoljne da bi se ovaj tetramer mogao smatrati vezanim.
Abstract (english)
The ground state of He3Ca 3 and He3Na 3 tetramers was simulated using quantum Monte Carlo methods. First, the variational Monte Carlo was used to find parameters for the trial wave function of the He3Ca 3 tetramer and upper bound values for the ground-state energy of the system. The spatial distribution functions were calculated. Then, the diffusion Monte Carlo was used to get the more accurate value for the ground-state energy and the distribution functions were compared to the variational Monte Carlo ones. The DMC energy dependence on time step was studied. Bound state of He3Na 3 was not found at the variational level. Preliminary results of the DMC simulation yield very small negative energy values. These results are not sufficient to conclude that He3Na 3 is a quantum halo state.
