Abstract
Imajući u vidu dostupnost i cijenu metoda u svakodnevnom stručnom radu, cilj ovog rada bio je usporediti dvije različite metode (KN vs BIA) određivanja sastava tijela sportaša mlađih uzrasnih kategorija, u borilačkom sportu u kojemu su vrlo bitne težinske kategorije i održavanje tjelesne težine. Ovaj rad obuhvatio je 15 taekwondoašica iz kategorija mlađih kadetkinja, kadetkinja i juniorki, u dobi izmeu 11 i 16 godina, članica taekwondo kluba Marjan iz Splita. Korelacijskom analizom postotka tjelesne masti iz parametara tri kožna nabora, sedam kožnih nabora i bioimpedance, dobivene vrijednosti pokazuju približno 80% zajedničkog varijabiliteta. Vrijednosti postotka tjelesne masti dobivene bilo kojom od navedenih metoda (tri kožna nabora, sedam kožnih nabora, električna bioimpedanca) značajno ne odstupaju, tako da se iz ovoga istraživanja može izvesti zaključak kako bilo koja od metoda može biti valjana u svakodnevnoj analizi sastava tijela.
Abstract (english)
Bearing in mind the availability and cost of methods in everyday professional work, the goal of this work was to compare two different methods (SF vs BIA) for determining body composition of younger age categories athletes, in martial arts in which are weight classes and maintenance of body weight very important. The study included 15 female taekwondo athletes from younger cadets, cadets and juniors, aged between 11 and 16 years, members od taekwondo club Marjan from Split. Correlation analysis of the percentage of body fat from parameters of 3 skin folds, 7 skin folds and bioimpedance, show approximately 80% of the common variability. The percentages of body fat obtained by any of the above methods (3 skin folds, 7 skin folds, electrical bioimpedance) do not differ significantly, so this study can be inferred that any of the methods can be valid in the daily analysis of body composition.
