Abstract
Kroz povijest ljudi su uvijek imali potrebu spremati i koristiti spremljene podatke. Možemo se sjetiti raznih zapisa spremljenih u kutije po određenom ključu. Razvojem računala baze podataka su postale jedno od ključnih polja računalne znanosti. U današnje doba one čine temelj mnogih grana gospodarstva. Neophodno je bilo izraditi kvalitetan i izdržljiv sustav baza podataka. Upoznali smo se s raznim vrstama baza podataka, a dobro smo proučili relacijske baze podataka. Za rad u današnjem informatičkom svijetu nužno je poznavati rad s bazama podataka. Upoznali smo se sa sustavom koji obavlja interakciju pod nazivom SQL te upoznali neke njegove naredbe. Relacijske baze podataka se najviše koriste jer se temelje na matematici, pa zbog toga ne postoje ne istražena područja koja su u domeni baza podataka. Baze podataka su bile, jesu i biti će neizostavan dio funkcioniranja današnjeg svijeta.
Abstract (english)
Throughout history people have always had the need to store, and use the saved data. We can think of a lot entries stored in boxes in a certain key. With the development of computer, databases have become one of the important fields of computer science. Nowadays, database are the basis of many industries. It was necessary to make a quality and durable database system. We met with various types of databases, but we are well studied relational databases. To operate in today's IT world, it is necessary to know the work with databases. We met with the system that performs the relational databases interaction called SQL and met some of his commands. Relational databases are mainly used because they are based on mathematics, and because thet, we don't have unexplored areas in the domain of database. Databases were, are and will be an integral part of the today's world.
