The aim of this thesis is to explore possibly existing differences in Technology Education teachers' stressors regarding gender and years of work experience. 121 Technology Education teachers from various schools across the Republic of Croatia took part in this survey. For purpose of this work, the Teacher Stress Source Scale was used, complemented with data on gender and years of work experience. The research results highlight different stressors of teachers, such as inadequate salary, the lack of time to dedicate to students individually, insufficient equipment, poor working conditions, and an excessive number of students. There are gender differences when it comes to stress caused by above-mentioned factors: women experience stress in school environments more frequently than men. When taking into consideration the years of work experience, the group of up to 5 years of work experience suffers most stress caused by above-mentioned factors. These results suggest the need for support and adaptating the environment to reduce stress and improve the quality of the educational process in the field of Technology Education.
