Abstract
Uporaba tekućih goriva je svakodnevnica suvremenog čovjeka. Dizel, benzin, kerozin, tekući naftni plin su među prvima na koje se misli kada se spominje pojam gorivo. Zbog svih svojstava pogodan su izbor za motore s unutrašnjim sagorijevanjem pri čemu se, njihovim izgaranjem, toplinska energija pretvara u mehaničku. Ugljikovodični lanci, ponajprije alkani, čine sastav tekućih goriva. Dodatkom aditiva uklanjaju se nepoželjna svojstva goriva i poboljšavaju karakteristike motora. Pogodna metoda za analizu tekućih goriva je plinska kromatografija koja zbog velikog broja teorijskih tavana dobro razdvaja komponente bliskih svojstava. Reprezentativni uzorci dizela i benzina su korišteni za analizu sastava goriva plinskom kromatografijom.
Abstract (english)
The use of liquid fuels is part of people's everyday lives today. Diesel, gasoline, kerosene, liquid gas are among the first that come to mind when the term fuel is mentioned. Due to their composition, they are suitable for internal combustion engines, in which the ignition of the fuel converts thermal energy into mechanical energy. The composition of liquid fuels consists of hydrocarbon chains, mainly alkanes. Additives help to remove undesirable compounds from the fuels and improve the properties of the engine. A suitable method for the analysis of liquid fuels is gas chromatography, which separates components with similar properties well due to the large number of theoretical plates. Representative samples of diesel and gasoline fuels were used for the gas chromatographic analysis.
