Abstract
Osjetni receptori zamjećuju i reagiraju na podražaje iz okoline, kao što su bol, dodir, hladnoća, toplina, svjetlost i zvuk. Pet je vrsta osjetnih receptora: mehanoreceptori, termoreceptori, nociceptori, kemoreceptori i elektromagnetski receptori. Različite modalitete osjeta živčana vlakna različitim brzina prenose u određene dijelove središnjeg živčanog sustava. Somatska osjetila prikupljaju informacije iz cijelog tijela i šalju informacije do središnjeg živčanog sustava. Dijele se na mehanoreceptivna, termorecetivna, ekstrareceptivna i proprioceptivna somatska osjetila. Ovisno o vrsti podražaja informacije putuju ili sustavom dorzalna kolumna - medijalni lemnisk ili anterolateralnim sustavom.
Abstract (english)
Sensory receptors detect and respond to enviromental stimuli such as pain, touch, cold, heat, light and sound. There are five types of sensory receptors: mechanoreceptors, thermoreceptors, nociceptors, chemoreceptors and electromagnetic receptors. Different modalities of nerve fiber sensation are transmitted to central nervous system with different velocities. The somatic senses collect information from the whole body and send information to the central nervous system. They are divided into mechanoreceptive, thermoreceptive, extrareceptive and proprioceptive somatic senses. Depending on the type of stimulus, information travels either through dorsal column – medial lemniscus system or through the anterolateral system.
