Abstract
U ovom radu su predstavljene osnovne definicije i svojstva Liejevih algebri s naglaskom na algebru sl(2, C). Takoder je definirana univerzalna omotačka algebra i dokazan važan PBW teorem o njenoj bazi. Glavni dio rada obraduje kategoriju konačnodimenzionalnih sl(2, C)-modula. Postepeno se pokaže da je ta kategorija poluprosta i da se točno zna kako izgledaju prosti objekti.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis basic concepts and theorems about Lie algebras are introduced and explored, with stress on special Lie algebra sl(2, C). Also, universal enveloping algebra and proof of PBW theorem about its basis are presented. Main part of this thesis is centered on the category of finite-dimensional sl(2, C)- modules. Step by step it is shown that this category is semisimple and simple objects in it are explicitly found.
