Abstract
Ljudska komunikacija je izrazito multimodalna pri čemu zvuk i glas predstavljaju jedan od ključnih aspekata, ne samo u našem okruženju, već i prilikom razvoja raznorodnih aplikacija. Završni rad se fokusira na korištenje glasovnih korisničkih sučelja pri olakšavanju učenja engleskog jezika djece osnovnoškolskog uzrasta. Teorijski dio rada donosi opis glasovnih sučelja, navodi relevantne prednosti i potencijalne nedostatke, te iznosi osvrt na neke srodne aplikacije koje uključuju glas. Praktični dio rada opisuje primijenjenu metodologiju razvoja, dakle izradu prototipa, dizajn, implementaciju, te vrednovanje, koja je ujedno i primijenjena u razvoju konkretne aplikacije. Rad završava zaključnim razmatranjem.
Abstract (english)
Human communication is extremely multimodal where sound and voice being one of the key aspects, not only in our environment, but also in the development of diverse applications. The final work focuses on the use of voice user interfaces in facilitating the learning of English by primary school children. The theoretical part of the work provides a description of voice interfaces, lists the relevant advantages and potential disadvantages, and provides an overview of some related applications that include voice. The practical part of the work describes the applied development methodology, hence prototyping, design, implementation, and evaluation, which is applied in the development of a specific application. The work concludes with a concluding consideration.
