Abstract
U ovom diplomskom radu opisano je istraživanje koje je provedeno na pet postaja duž rijeke Gacke, najpoznatije hrvatske ponornice, u lipnju 2021. godine. Istraživanje se temelji na određivanju fizikalno-kemijskih parametara i skupljanju makrozoobentosa. Iz skupljenih uzoraka makrozoobentosa određen je ilirski biotički indeks, na temelju kojeg je određena kvaliteta vode Gacke. Dobiveni rezultati pokazali su kako je Gacka čista voda s povremeno umjerenim zagađenjem, uglavnom zbog velikog broja turista.
Abstract (english)
This graduate thesis describes research conducted at five stations along the Gacka river, Croatian most famous subterranean river, in June 2021. The research is based on the determination of physico-chemical parameters and on the collection of macrozoobenthos. The illyrian biotic index was determined from the collected macrozoobenthos samples. Based on the illyrian biotic index, the water quality of the Gacka river was determined. The obtained results show that Gacka is clean water with occasional moderate pollution, mainly due to the large number of tourists.
