Abstract
Cilj ovog rada je omogućiti učenicima s disleksijom lakše razumijevanje gradiva učenog u školi i učenje s minimalnim naporom. Naime, disleksija je poteškoća u učenju koja se ponajviše očituje kod pisanoga jezika, odnosno čitanja i samostalnog pisanja. Iako je rezultat različitosti u neurološkom smislu, disleksija nije poremećaj inteligencije, pa bi osobama s disleksijom trebalo omogućiti prilagođeni pristup pisanju i čitanju kako bi ostvarili svoje ciljeve u skladu s mogućnostima. Obzirom na razvoj informatike i mogućnosti pri izradi web stranicama, današnje obrazovanje ima potencijalna rješenja za navedene probleme koja bi mogla doprinijeti motivaciji i uspjehu učenika. Ovaj rad sadrži detaljan opis poteškoća i prikaz postojećih istraživanja učinkovitosti prilagodbe sadržaja osobama s disleksijom. Osim toga, u radu se opisuje korisnost fontova namijenjenih osobama s disleksijom, njihove karakteristike te moguća primjena prilagođenog fonta OpenDyslexic u realizaciji školske nastave izradom prototipa virtualnog udžbenika uz upotrebu MVC tehnologije.
Abstract (english)
The aim of this thesis is to enable students with dyslexia to more easily understand the material learned in school and to learn with minimal effort. Namely, dyslexia is a learning difficulty that is most evident in written language, that is, in reading and independent writing. Although it is the result of diversity in a neurological sense, dyslexia is not an intellectual disability, so people with dyslexia should be allowed a special approach in writing and reading in order to achieve their goals according to their abilities. Given the development of informatics and opportunities in creating websites, today's education has potential solutions to these problems that could contribute to the motivation and success of students. This thesis contains a detailed description of the difficulties and a review of existing research on the effectiveness of content adaptation for people with dyslexia. In addition, the paper describes the usefulness of fonts intended for people with dyslexia, their characteristics and the possible application of a custom OpenDyslexic font in the implementation of school teaching by making a prototype of a virtual textbook using MVC technology.
