Abstract
In this work the sea surface temperature is analised for four stations: Split, Hvar, Rab and Komiža. Satellite data (AVHRR, CMC and JPL) with different periods are used, and later compared with reference data from the national network (DHMZ mesurements). To see how satellites matches with measurements, statistics for trend, bias, correlation, Taylor Diagram and Mann Kendall test significance are used. Analysis of sea surface temperature is connnected with climate changes because Adriatic as enclosed continental shelf represents an ideal area for analising climate changes. Also, the main characteristics of the Adriatic sea, stations with their coordinates, climate change factors and statistics are described in detail. For statistical calculations MATLAB programme was used, and the results are graphically described and in tables. Regarding the results, AVHRR and CMC satellites recorded a rise in temperature for the period of 1981.-2009. for AVHRR and period of 1991.-2009. for CMC satellite, while JPL satellite recorded a drop in temperature for the period of 2002.-2015. DHMZ also recorded a rise in temperature for the period same as for AVHRR. The best results are shown by AVHRR and CMC satellites, which have the best matches with reference data for the most part of statistical results.

U radu je proučavana površinska temperatura mora za četiri postaje: Split, Hvar, Rab i Komiža. Korišteni su podaci od tri satelita, AVHRR, CMC i JPL sa različitim periodima koji su se uspoređivali sa referentnim, DHMZ, mjerenjima. Statistika koja je korištena je trend, korelacija, bias, Taylorov dijagram i Mann Kendall test signifikantnosti. Analiza površinske temperature mora je povezana sa klimatskim promjenama s obzirom da Jadransko more kao poluzatvoreni epikontinentalni bazen predstavlja idealno područje za proučavanje tih promjena. Opisane su glavne karakteristike Jadranskog mora, postaja sa koordinatama, čimbenici klimatskih promjena i statistika svih rezultata. Rezultati su dobiveni korištenjem programa MATLAB, te su prikazani grafički i u tablicama. Što se tiče rezultata, AVHRR i CMC sateliti bilježe porast temperature za periode od 1981. za AVHRR i 1991. za CMC do 2009., dok JPL bilježi pad temperature za period od lipnja 2002. – travnja 2015. Uz to, najbolje rezultate su pokazali AVHRR i CMC sateliti, koji su se u većini statistike najbolje slagali sa referentnim mjerenjima.
