Abstract
Lotus Notes – i su popularan groupware produkt koji se održao na tržištu više od dva desetljeća, koji je zbog svoje odlične integracije e-mail sustava za korporacije, raznih mogućnosti komunikacije, te mogućnošću lakog proširivanja raznom podesivom programskom podrškom u obliku NSF baza, i dalje jedna od vodećih franšizi. Kroz ovaj rad upoznat ćete se sa načinom razvoja programske podrške za Lotus Notes klijent, te određene elemente koji su neophodni za taj razvoj. Sagledana je prošlost i sama metodologija Domina. Objašnjeni su neki najbolji pristupi problemima i natuknute općenite stvari na koje treba paziti prilikom razvoja uz nekoliko općih primjera koji se događaju u praksi.
Abstract (english)
Lotus Notes are a popular groupware product that has managed to stay on the market for more then two decades, and, through its excellent integration of enterprise messaging, different communication potential and extensibility with different custom software solutions in form of NSF databases, is still one of the leaders in the franchise. This work will familiarise you with ways of developing software for Lotus Notes client, and different elements that are essential for that development. It will look into the history of Domino and its methodology. Also it will explain some best approaches to the problems and hint some basic things to look out for while developing with a couple of common examples that happen in the practice.
