Abstract
U radu su opisane osnovne karakteristike nestandardnih postupaka obrade materijala te njihova podjela, kojima pripada i obrada vodenim mlazom. Opisan je povijesni razvoj vodenog mlaza koji je do danas dosegao visok stupanj razvoja, te pronašao značajno širu primjenu. Obrađeni su postupci obrade materijala čistim vodenim mlazom i abrazivnim vodenim mlazom, te su navedena njihovim glavna obilježja. Opisan je rad stroja za obradu uz detaljniji opis pojedinih dijelova te su navedene glavne prednosti, nedostaci i područja primjene ovog suvremenog načina obrade materijala.
Abstract (english)
This paper describes the basic characteristics of the unconventional procedures of material processing and their division, which includes water jet processing. The historical development of the water jet, which has reached a high level of development and has found a significantly wider application, is described in this paper. Water jet machining and abrasive water jet machining are described and their main characteristics are listed. There is description of machine operation for water jet machining and more detailed description of individual parts. There are listed the main advantages, disadvantages and areas of application of this modern method of material processing.
