Abstract
U ovom radu upoznajemo se s pojmom konveksnosti skupova i nekim njihovim osnovnim svojstvima. U prvom poglavlju definiramo konveksnost, promatramo koje je operacije čuvaju i uvodimo pojmove konveksne ljuske i zatvorene konveksne ljuske. U drugom se poglavlju bavimo relativnom nutrinom, definiramo asimptotski konus, ekstremalne točke i izložene stranice. Treće poglavlje govori o operatoru projekcije i njegovim svojstvima. U četvrtom poglavlju promatramo razdvajanje konveksnih skupova i njegove primjene, a u zadnjem poglavlju pokazujemo kako možemo aproksimirati konveksne skupove.
Abstract (english)
In this thesis we investigate convex sets and their basic properties. In the first chapter we define convexity of sets, study operations that preserve it and introduce the notions of convex hull and closed convex hull. In the second chapter we deal with relative interior, asymptotic cones, extreme points and exposed surfaces. The third chapter is reserved for projections and their properties. In the fourth chapter we study separations of convex sets and its applications, and in the last chapter approximations of convex sets.
